Mark R. Hamilton
Founder, President, and CEO
Mark provides a wealth of experience in financing, building, and operating
technology and communications companies in the U.S. and abroad. In 1984, after
five years practicing commercial and securities law, he joined McCaw Cellular
(now AT&T Wireless). There, he had a leadership role in the company's
acquisition and financing activities and represented McCaw in policy matters
before the United States Congress, executive branch, and the Federal
Communications Commission.
In his 10 years at McCaw, Mark's positions included Executive Vice President
and General Counsel during McCaw's initial public offering in 1987 and
Executive Vice President of Government Affairs during its takeover of LIN
Broadcasting and acquisition by AT&T. In 1994 he assumed responsibility for
AT&T's wireless development and operations outside the U.S.
Mark has also served as a director and deputy chairman of SmarTone Ltd., a
publicly listed Hong Kong company; as a director of Far EasTone
Telecommunications (Taiwan) and Birla Communications, Ltd. (India); and as ad
director and vice-chairman of Monet Mobile Networks in the U.S.
Before launching TTM, he founded New Century Globalnet, a broadband service
provider in Japan. Mark is a graduate of the University of Washington and the
Harvard Law School.
